Avgeeks, has anyone here had any experience in the conversion process of a foreign license in DGCA India Pilot license as OCI
Born in India but had USA, Canada or AUS etc country citizenship holder with OCI card holder (legal to work in India)
I talked with so many aviators but most of them understand as a FATA licence (It's a completely different process)
recently I posted on so many aviation forums and I found out that an OCi cardholder requires clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs if the CN has never been issued, in my case, I already have a CN.
it's even mentioned on USER MANUAL Flight crew MANUAL on the DGCA Pariksha website
In short, what I mean to say is that foreign countries are great for pursuing flying careers but time buildings of 1500 hours are not for everyone, and some want to come back home to be with their parents (I am one of the family guys)
I am starting this discussion to see what latest input I'll be getting from aviators and what job opportunities in Indian airlines.
